| Description: | From Honobia Bigfoot Festival Website: Every year we hold a festival and conference in Honobia, Oklahoma that celebrates everything Bigfoot. It is completely filled with events and local talent. Some of the events at the conference include an art show, 5k run, live entertainment, food booths, Bigfoot story telling, and games for children. All the money raised by the festival goes towards giving scholarships to students in this area.
Honobia is located in a beautiful part of Southeast Oklahoma. We are in the heart of the Kiamichi Mountains which is known for its beautiful forests and crystal clear steams. Many of the people that live in this area have deep ancestral roots to the Choctaw Nation, and those traditions are still alive today.
